This replaces LMN 03/2026.

Port Users are advised that, following the completion of the post seabed-levelling survey at Berth 3, Port of Albany, the declared berth depths have been reinstated to the previous depth as detailed in the table below.

Masters, mariners, and stakeholders are requested to take note of the following declared depths and operate accordingly.

Berth Declared Depth Minimum UKC
Berth 1 10.20m 0.40m
Berth 2 10.20m 0.40m
Berth 3 12.20m 0.60m
Berth 6 12.20m 0.60m
Channel 12.60m (dynamic ukc)1.20m or 10% of the deepest draft. Whichever is the highest.
Swing Basin (Berth 1 and 2) 10.20m  
Swing Basin (Berth 3 and 6) 12.20m  

 

Additional Instructions for Berth 1, 2, 3 and 6

 Minimum UKC For Berth 3 and 6

The minimum UKC for Berth 3 and 6 is 0.60m. The Master is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vessel's minimum UKC at all times.

Minimum UKC For Berth 1 and 2

The minimum UKC for Berth 1 and 2 is 0.40m. The Master is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vessel's minimum UKC at all times.
