When undertaking shipping operations, our pilots and marine teams carefully consider and manage weather conditions to safely navigate into and out of port. When there are high winds and rough seas it can make it difficult for vessels to berth.

Before boarding a vessel, our pilots need to know the exact conditions they are facing. They have access to a range of information from our weather stations to keep them information and we’re making a portion of this information available to you as well, so you can navigate our local waters and conditions.
