Esperance cruise arrivals

Where passengers disembark is a public area located close to the Esperance town centre. The best way to get around the town is by foot. If you’re looking to visit Esperance’s beaches and other attractions these are located further afield and you’ll either need to travel by bus or taxi.

The famous Lucky Bay beach is approximately 60 kilometres (a 45 to 60 minute drive) from the cruise arrival point.

The Visitors Centre is located in the historic Museum Village.

No. There is no public access to the port to view or board cruise ships due to Federal Government security requirements. The security zone at the port restricts who can enter the area, and there is a local security company who assists Southern Ports meet those requirements.

There’s a variety of reasons that a cruise vessel may cancel its visit. For example, they could be behind on their schedule or the weather, swell and tide conditions may make it unsafe for them to arrive or depart.
