Mooring

At our Port of Esperance, Southern Ports undertakes mooring services to ensure vessels are secure alongside its berths.

Specialised dynamic equipment such as Shoretension units are used to reduce vessel movements caused by swell, strong wind, current or passing vessels.

At Albany and Bunbury, mooring services are undertaken by third parties.

Fees and charges

The following charges apply between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027 for mooring services at the Port of Esperance.
