Albany General Purpose Berth

We’re developing a business case to replace the ageing Berths 1 and 2 at the Port of Albany with a new general purpose berth.

A new general purpose berth is critical to the long-term viability of the Albany economy. It would support larger modern vessels using the port, supporting the expansion of cruise tourism, as well as grain exports and fertiliser imports through Albany.

The State Government has invested $11 million into planning the new asset, with development of the business case and associated investigations now well underway.
