Port of Albany Master Planning Project
Southern Ports is proudly the custodian of the three ‘gateway’ ports of Albany, Bunbury and Esperance, connecting Western Australia to the world.
Our Corporate Vision is Strong Regional Ports: Strong Regions and we believe excellent long-term planning can help realise this determination. As such, we have commenced a Port Master Planning project for the Port of Albany which will help guide and shape our planning in forward years.

IMPORTANT ISSUES SURVEY
It's important to us that through this process we continue to engage with the community and our stakeholders to get your feedback. Close to 365 Important Issues surveys were completed by stakeholders, local residents, port users and Southern Ports personnel. The top four priority topics from the survey were:
- Ensuring safety and security of people at and around the port
- Supporting Great Southern regional growth and confidence
- Facilitating/supporting future port development - trade growth and diversity
- Ensuring 'fit for purpose' assets
The survey results will be taken and integrated into the project methodology to ensure all the issues are considered in the master planning work. Please click here for more information on the survey outcomes.
