Southern Ports recently partnered with the Smith Family, Australind Senior High School and other local businesses to help Bunbury secondary students learn about work and explore their career options. The students attended workshops and student Jack (pictured) was selected to do work experience with Southern Ports.
General Manager Bunbury Port Darren Lambourn said Southern Ports was very pleased to be involved in a program that could help the workforce of the future identify a career path.
“The Smith Family’s program offers its students a great opportunity to explore future career options as well as develop important employability skills. Southern Ports is very much focused on developing the regions in which we operate, so this project is a perfect fit for us,” said Darren.
