BERTH 3 IS A DOLPHIN BERTH THAT SERVICES BULK CONCENTRATE (LARGELY IRON ORE) THROUGH A MOBILE SHIPLOADER
Any vessel outside of the following berth parameters will require written authorisation from the Port of Esperance Operations to confirm loading conditions prior to berthing.Construction Dolphin Products Iron Ore, Spodumene Maximum Beam 60m (Maximum reach of loader: 31.7m, Minimum: 11.2m. Charters must verify with the Master that the vessel can be safely loaded). - All sulphur and all fertiliser vessels must be geared
- Always check PoE Marine Information for the most recent Notice to Mariners for current berth and channel depths.
- UKC: Minimum 0.6m
- Any vessel exceeding the berth parameters will require prior authorisation from both the Harbour Master and PoE Operations Manager
