Inner Harbour Groyne Works in Bunbury

Southern Ports will commence Inner Harbour groyne works at the Port of Bunbury from Tuesday 11 April 2023, which will take approximately 12 weeks to complete.

These works aim to upgrade the groyne rock wall to improve breakwater efficiency and safety.

During this time, access to the southern part of the beach (including Point Hamila) will be closed temporarily.

This is marked by local signage and shown in the purple zone in the map below.

Beach access will still be accessible from the Cut.
