For the first time in many years, Southern Ports will be represented at the upcoming Esperance Agricultural Show.
A major event in the town, the Show brings the community together over two days of displays, information, food and entertainment.
Port General Manager Scott Bates said the Show offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate how Southern Ports contributes to the community.
"This years' display and materials are focused on how we contribute to the local community through employment, apprenticeships, work placements, sponsorships, supporting the SES and through responsible environmental management. We have a great story to tell and the Show provides us with a unique opportunity to reach a significant portion of the town in a short period of time," said Scott.
Southern Ports will also be represented in a special advertising and editorial feature in the Esperance Express to promote the Show.
A special thanks to the staff members who have volunteered their time to help man the display and make the Show a success. If you're in town over October 17th & 18th, be sure to call past the display and show your support. Watch this space for a post-Show wrap up.
