The HMAS Collins, a Collins Class submarine, will be visiting Albany for the Albany Port Open Day on Saturday 24 April 2021.

The HMAS Collins was one of the first submarines to be totally designed by computers and has successfully conducted a range of activities in support of Australian Defence Force exercises, operations and the Government's strategic directives.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions people will not be able to board the submarine, however there are plenty of other great activities to enjoy as part of the free event, including stalls and displays from Southern Ports, CBH, Mission to Seafarers, QUBE and other Port users and stakeholders, performances from the Albany Shantymen and Jamie the Clown and a free sausage sizzle.

While this event is free, registrations are still required to ensure we adhere to COVID-19 restrictions. Click here for more information and to book your tickets.
