Run over Zoom technology, students from Australind High School participated in The Smith Family's Work Inspiration digital session from the safety of their classroom.

Bunbury Regional Manager Lee Smith ran a digital session on Southern Ports, giving students the unique opportunity to watch a ship being unloaded, see cranes in action and ask Lee questions along the way about what they were watching, his own job and career pathway and the different job roles at Southern Ports.

Representatives from The Smith Family Beyond School Transitions Project said the challenges of the COVID world have given the organisation the tools to think outside the square.

"We are so grateful for organisations like Southern Ports and individuals like Lee who are willing to give something new a go, and to keep young people engaged and inspired about their futures."

Southern Ports look forward to participating in more Work Inspiration sessions into the future.
