Southern Ports will soon welcome a new pilot boat to its Port of Bunbury’s fleet and the community has the chance to name the new vessel!

With a month still to run, Southern Ports has confirmed that annual grain trade records have already been broken at each of its three ports at Albany, Bunbury and Esperance.

A new permanent tug mooring has been installed by Southern Ports around a kilometre offshore from the Esperance Bay Yacht Club to provide an additional mooring option for marine towage services at the Port of Esperance.

Dredging works are due to commence at the Port of Bunbury Outer Harbour on Wednesday 26 October 2022, and are expected to take two weeks.
